                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2501 EAST
                   23RD STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   EAST 23RD STREET AT BUCKLEY STREET, FROM C-2
                   CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE TO M-1
                   MANUFACTURING ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 2501 East 23rd Street,
                being on the northeast line of East 23rd Street at
                Buckley Street.  Lots 33, 34, 35, and part of lot
                36, block 11, McCullough's Subdivision of the
                Huddle Farm No. 2, as shown by plat of record in
                plat book 1, page 11, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 3140, page 284, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 156F-K-21.
               
               
         from C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
